Gunjan Koul

Gunjan Koul (she/her) gunjan koul (she/her) leads workshops across all spaces of Seed & Bloom, shaping each session into a soft, grounded place built on curiosity, kindness, clarity, and ritual. Drawing from therapeutic horticulture and the culinary arts, she creates experiences filled with color, play, whimsy, and careful attention to detail, offering students as much joy and variety as possible. Her practice is deeply informed by the idea of “playing with time” in a carceral space—inviting moments of slowness, presence, and imaginative possibility where time often feels rigid and prescribed. Gunjan’s passion and belief is that this work becomes rehabilitative by nurturing emotional regulation, agency, and connection, offering a novel, restorative alternative to the programming traditionally found in carceral environments.
